Let me introduce myself . . .  I'm a wife, mom, business owner, photographer, artist . . .

I feel like the proverbial late bloomer making up for lost time.

My tag line is "life's messy - take pictures".  Don't wait !  Today's the day!

Growing up in Alaska was a gift of glaciers, whales, & mountain trails to explore. We thought of it all as our own backyard. Studying at the University of Oregon allowed me to play in the ocean and more mountains while earning a BA of Fine Arts. Studying amazing artists, photographers, and dance helped me find my inspiration.

 

After graduating, I worked in Early Education. I loved the children and all that energy. I also waited tables. A lot of tables! Those demanding high energy positions gave me priceless experience. My dedication, customer service, and attention to detail grew leaps and bounds. All my skills worked together when I began working as a studio photographer for a large Seattle Portrait Studio. I was there for 14 years and shot over 20,000 sessions. That's a lot of faces! When I got married and had a family it was also time to start my own business - Carolyn Coffee Photography. We  live east of Seattle in the Cascades- North Bend.  I still get to play in the mountains and a big backyard.

My goal is to give you beautiful images you will cherish for years to come by capturing life's milestones & magic moments in between.  My hope is that the session becomes a wonderful memory in itself. Celebrating a new baby, your family, or big event is all so exciting.  Perhaps it's a new career or home that you would like to document.
